The Hummer Club Inc. is one of the longest lasting Hummer organizations, with a history that now stretches more than thirty years. It began in 1995 when a small group of H1 owners met in Tennessee to see what their trucks could do and to enjoy the outdoors together. What started as a simple weekend trip soon grew into a national organization that welcomes every model of Hummer, from the original H1 to the modern EV. During its peak years the club worked directly with AM General to support events, promote training, and participate in several factory initiatives that helped strengthen the Hummer community.
Although smaller in size today, the club continues the same spirit of exploration and friendship that shaped its early years. We host several organized trail rides each year in several states across the United States. These events give members a chance to enjoy scenic terrain, learn from experienced drivers, and connect with a community that truly appreciates these vehicles.
The Hummer Club is not just a casual group of weekend wheelers. It is a registered Unincorporated Association Corporation in the state of Pennsylvania, operated entirely by volunteers. Board Members who run the club and event coordinators that help host the outings volunteer their time; none of them take a dime from membership or event fees. So that means every dollar circles back to the members that help support it through annual dues. These dues help the club maintain its website, expand its reach, secure trail permits, create exclusive merchandise for members, and publish our printed Azimuth Magazine. |
