Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area or AOAA.

AOAA will be a multi-use outdoor area with miles and miles of 4x4 trails and challenges. Ultimately planned as more than just a place to four-wheel, The Hummer Club has been an active participant and supporter in helping AOAA get off the ground. There have been a couple smaller club events at AOAA in preparation for their opening in 2013.

AOAA covers 6500 acres of land with over 100 miles of trails that are certain to satisfy all skill levels from mild to wild. The club will be hosting a multi-day event at AOAA with registration on June 20th and two days on the trails: June 21^st and June 22^nd. AOAA is Within easy driving distance of many cities near the East Coast.

Expedition Moab 2013 - Pre-Event

Block your calendars and your diary's now! The Hummer Club hopes that you will join us for some incredible off-roading and Hummer comradery. This is the warm-up Pre-Event for the Expedition Moab 2013 club event.

Join us for 2 days of trails in the Durango/Aztec/Four Corners area - from wild "I didn't know a hummer could do that" trails to scenic views of the Rockies from over 12,000'. Durango/Aztec has something for everyone.

Registration for is via the club's Expedition Moab event.

The Durango/Aztec pre-event will start on the 12th of September with a pre-event at the event hotel. We will be on the trails the 13th and 14th. The 15th is a travel day to Moab for the Expedition Moab event. The "infamous" Black Bear pass will be an option for those who are willing to dare it's narrow switchbacks as you decend into Telluride..

Please note that in order to attend the pre-event, you must register for the Expedition Moab event.

Wheeling in three States!  New Mexico, Colorado and Utah – all in one epic trip.  Oh-ya, you read it right – this is the Hummer adventure event of the year. The best wheeling, on the best trails – Moab is Hummer Heaven for a reason!

Here are the 5 W’s:

Who: YOU!  AM General support (expected), dealer support from the great folks at Tustin Hummer and the Hummer Club Inc.

What: The most significant Hummer event of the year.

Where: Moab of course!  But there’s more – we’ll be running some exceptional trails in Aztec, New Mexico, Durango, Colorado and Moab, Utah.  3 States!

Why: Because it’s awesome!

When: Durango and Aztec, check into your pre-event hotel on September 12.  Check out of your hotel on the morning of September 15 to transfer to Moab via highway, or Black Bear Pass.  Check into your Moab event hotel on September 15.  Check out of your Moab hotel on September 20 for your trip home.

The annual club membership meeting will be held during the Moab Expection 2013 event. Time and location TBA.
