The Hummer Club’s Black Mountain event in Harlan, KY is back!! Come Join fellow club members May 3rd and 4th at the Black Mountain Off Road Adventure Area.
Black Mountain features 2 full days on the trails - from (mild to wild) and an opportunity to try the zip line tour (Optional) on Saturday afternoon.

The event hotel will be the Comfort Inn (Former Holiday Inn Express) and reservations can be made by calling (606) 573-3385. We have a block of rooms (Blocked till 4/15) at the rate of $79/night. This includes a hot breakfast. King Suites are $85/night. The hotel and all of the rooms are being completely renovated and all rooms should have microwaves and refrigerators at that time. They are also adding an elevator that should be installed by event date. Camping is also available through the Harlan County Campground ( http://www.harlancountycampground.com/ )
Register before April 19th to get a t-shirt. Registrations after that date are too late to get the shirt order in and will not include an event shirt. RubberDuck is providing t-shirts for this event.

This is first of a series of meet and greet Hummer events being held this year. We plan to alternate venues every quarter between the Los Angeles area and San Diego area.
All Hummer owners are welcome, there will be several folks from various Hummer clubs in the area including the national Hummer Club and groups like Hummer 4x4 Offroad. All clubs are welcome, this is a chance to come meet other hummer owners, check out their trucks, etc.
The Hummer Club will be announcing their schedule for California runs for 2013 at this meeting.
The Spring meet and greet will be in the San Diego area, which may be a field fix event combined with a BBQ but that is tentative at this time.
Please contact me so I can get an accurate headcount. Reservations are under the Hummer Club party.

For those of you who joined us in past years at our Drummond Island event you know what a unique place it is. Great hotel, wonderful scenery & great trails for every driver. It is a beautiful experience, from the Mackinac Bridge, along the rocky shorelines that must be passed.. onto the ferry, past the limestone quarry. For those of you new to the event, the trails provide great scenic venues as well as some challenges. This will be an awesome off-road experience for any skill level as well as a great recreational opportunity for the whole family.
